We’re looking to continue our fantastic start this year with many projects to assist our students with Trade preparation in and out of the classroom! Continue to check in for updates on different project around the community!
Welcome back to the new school year. To date, Eagle Academy has been very active! To start, we have engaged in another EHT Historical Society building project. Students assisted in demolition of an old deck and plan development for the new one. This project is planned to be finished spring of 2017.

Eagle Academy students also were invited and sponsored to play in Atlantic Prevention Resources Bocce Tournament in September. Our team took 3rd overall out of 20 teams! Next year we’ll play for the title!
Senior students in November were introduced to Atlantic Cape Community College with a visit to their MaysLanding Campus. Students enjoyed a fantastic, education tour and a lunch in the school cafeteria.

Boris Lainez is ready for any challenger! The Bocce court was a school effort with many hands on to assist in the development process. Students designed and calculated materials for the project. With assistance from Building and Maintenance, we were able to acquire recycled materials to keep the projects costs down. Mr. Collesano and Mr. Meister are looking for teams to take on our student’s and staff this spring! All are welcome!!!
Mr. Meister’s math classes made a visit to Ocean City on November 30, 2015 to take measurements of the Music Pier to formulate beach erriosion.

10/1-5/12
We had an excellent week completing the HSPA exams. Students did a great job learning skills to design and draw solutions to plans of building a bench. All hands were on deck as we assist the Alder Ave Middle School with their school grant. We will be looking to complete the job task within the next two weeks! We also had our first upper against lower classmen competition using “MARBLE MADDNESS!” Students have been creating a track for a marble to travel. So far the tracks are less than one second apart! Should be a close finish.
